I am a lifelong fan of The Rolling Stones, so my opinion may be a tad bias, I found that in my experience at their 1st November 2014 concert at Perth Arena they "still have it", particularly flamboyant front man and living legend Mick Jagger.
The set list contained a number of crowd pleasing big hitters, and reminded us of what an amazing discography these visionary performers have had. The Stones played "I Can't Get No Satisfaction", "Honky Tonk Woman", "Tumbling Dice", "Gimme Shelter", "Brown Sugar", "Jumping Jack Flash", "Start Me Up", "You Can't Always Get What You Want", and "Sympathy for the Devil", among others. Personally I would have loved to add "Wild Horses" and "Angie" which were unfortunately absent.
Keith Richards mumbled his way through two songs (including Exile on Main Street's "Happy"), which may have been the only weak spot in the concert. Charlie Watts, the stone faced drummer, seemed expressionless throughout the concert but Ronnie Wood leaped around the stage like a school boy.
I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with the 14 On Fire tour. It was originally rescheduled after the untimely death of Jagger's girlfriend L'Wren Scott in April this year. I would recommend anyone to go and see the boys while they are still rocking away
